Hey Steve
I hope you dont mind me replying to this thread..
Firstly I wanted to say I think it is great that you have been doing this for 3 years, and even better that you still take an active interest in it, review it annually and actually have your customers interests at heart...thats a rare trait indeed and because of that I realy want to stick around for a long time ha!
Okay SLS groupy stuff to the side!
I understand every thing you talk about in your video but it just raises some questions that I want to ask before I forget. More on a personal note really.
Firstly to undertake such a task normally would normally be quite laboursome if you did it manually. In recent years every one has jumped on the automation bandwagon and this has been reinforced with the intro of SE NUKE X. BUT ive always liked to do this manually as I have complete control over it. So with that in mind, will you be able to spend a little time for us relative newbies to this Link Mountain idea, in explaining how you would go about such a task that is achievable, organised and sustainable because that is where Ive always fallen by the way. After building it, your are then faced with sustaining it and growing it and that has been a problem for me.
Any ideas for tools ect that help would be great
Lastly, and again just on a personal note. Is there any harm in your eyes, in building a massive Link Mountain like this, that you look to use to promote lots of sites or business's. In this I mean, instead of building an on topic network, where you promote your site and possibly related ones, Im thinking building a massive network that you can use for small business Promotion. So the theme of the network is Small Business SEO and as such you can promote any business you like from it.
This way you will constantly be adding new content to it, and it will constanly be growing, and you can concentrate on growing your one link mountain into an absolute Machine, rather than having to repeat the process a little down the road for your next site/s.
I hope that makes sense! More time spent on one network that becomes a powerhouse, rather than less time spent on a few.
I know you touch on it in your video steve, but I mean a stage further where you look to build a longterm massive network that you can literally just plug a new customer in as and when, and they will immediately benefit from the existing power of the network. It may be a point already covered in the forum or possibly not even worth following, but would love to know if so.
Thanks Steve, and as a new Member I do appreciate the time you have spent building this little monster!
Take care for now
Kind regards
JAMIE
